Seedtag continues its expansion in Latin America by officialising the opening of its new office in Colombia.

The Europe-based company chose Colombia as the second market in South America and the third market in Latin America, after having great results in Mexico and Brazil, where they opened operations in August 2016 and July 2017 respectively. The opening of the Bogotá office not only increases Seedtag’s global presence, but also reinforces the company’s growth in the region with the support of local Sales Managers Sandra Raigoso and Alejandro Rodriguez and Brazil Country Manager Daniel Freixo, who will be supervising the Colombian operations.

This new office gives Seedtag the opportunity to tap into a market where digital advertising has had a steady growth of approximately 20% every year, and where future advertising opportunities are very promising as the share of digital advertising is still small compared to other regions.

Albert Nieto, Seedtag’s Co-Founder and CEO says that “starting operations in Colombia is a natural step to consolidate seedtag’s bet on the LATAM region after a very successful opening in Brazil and México. I am convinced that Daniel Freixo and our team in Bogotá will impress brands and publishers with the results of our advertising solutions."

From Brazil, Daniel Freixo is “very excited about this new opening and convinced that seedtag will become a strategic partner for brands and publishers in Colombia. The first step of building a top quality team is done and we can't wait to move forward."

The team located in Colombia is made up of two sales managers with extensive professional experience. Sandra Raigoso has worked for more than 10 years in the digital industry. She started as part of the OMD team in Bogotá, and, since 2010, has been working in the commercial department of many digital technology companies such as Terra, Groupon, IMS or Adglow. Now, as part of Seedtag’s team, she says ”it is a challenge to be part of a company that is looking to be a leader in the industry and that reinvents itself to innovate in a sector that is in constant change. I feel very lucky to be part of the Seedtag family".

Alejandro Rodriguez also has more than 10 years of experience and has worked with multinational companies such as GroupM, Headway, Microsoft, IMS and Shazam. He is an engineer with a passion for the digital industry and knows all the different areas of the sector very well, as he has worked in an agency, in a sales team and on the client side. Alejandro says that he feels “very lucky to work in a company that seeks to innovate every day and that wants employees to feel like an important component of the company. I am sure that Seedtag will have great success in Colombia.”

This expansion has been driven by an increased market awareness of the benefits of the company’s In-Image and In-Video solutions, as well as the continued demand for innovative, cookie-free and brand-safe advertising solutions in the South-American country.

Thanks to Seedtag’s proprietary Cognitive Content Analysis (CCA) technology developed through Machine Learning algorithms and its ability to integrate ads into images and now also into videos, Seedtag can offer Colombian advertisers the possibility to develop their brand values by being associated with related content, as well as  an effective alternative to the use of cookies, allowing targeting based on the users’ interests in real-time.
